A study timer that never loses your session

Built for long study days

A study timer has one job: still be counting when you look up. PomoGrove measures your session against the wall clock instead of counting ticks, saves your progress on every change, and works fully offline. Close the laptop for a class, lose the library wifi, refresh by accident — your session survives all of it.

Intervals that fit how you study

Start with the classic 25/5 pomodoro, switch to 50/10 for problem sets, or use the 90-minute preset for deep reading. There's also flowtime mode, which counts up instead of down — useful on days when you're in the zone and don't want an arbitrary cutoff. Not sure how long your breaks should be? We wrote up the research in how long study breaks should be.

Motivation you can see

Every finished session grows a tomato in your grove, and streaks track the days you showed up. A long study day ends with a full grove — a small, visible record that the hours happened. Add your tasks with pomodoro estimates and watch them ripen as you work through them.

Free, quiet, and yours

No ads, no signup, no upsells between you and the timer. Pair it with the built-in focus sounds (lofi, rain, brown noise, library ambience), install it as an app, and it's a complete study setup.
